Refunds are issued only when:
- Report generation fails for technical reasons
- Our data sources return no records for the VIN you submitted (auto-refunded)
We do not issue buyer’s-remorse refunds. The VIN preview (free, before purchase) confirms the vehicle is decodable; if the preview returns Year/Make/Model, the report should generate successfully.
Refund window: 30 days from purchase. Email info@thevincheck.com with your transaction ID.
Chargebacks. If you have a billing or product concern, please email us first so we can resolve it directly. Initiating a payment-card chargeback or dispute without first contacting us at info@thevincheck.com is grounds for immediate and permanent termination of your access to the service and forfeiture of any account credits. We reserve the right to contest chargebacks on transactions we have reason to believe were legitimately authorized and delivered.
